a night away - posted on 08/22/2006

Being from Charleston I know the beauty of the old south, but this was exceptional. The room was nothing I expected, beyond words! The staff was wonderful. Can't beat it!

Nice Ambience - posted on 03/03/2006

Overall, the hotel was centrally located and was great for walking around historic Charleston. Very proximate to wonderful restaurants such as Magnolias. Wyatt at the front desk, was great! Others were not as service oriented. Only drawback, rooms were being renovated and we weren't told in advance. It was a drawback at 8:00 a.m. when they started hammering! Less amenities than a large chain but cozy. Parking is convenient.

Great trip, OK hotel - posted on 02/22/2006

The hotel was in a perfect location, you could comfortably walk everywere. The room we had was on the bottom floor and our door was in the lobby. We could hear the phone ringing at the reception desk and everyone come in and out of the front door, not to mention people actually sat in the lobby and socialized. The price should have been lower for our room if we went to this hotel we would make sure our room was upstairs.

An Incredible Inn - posted on 08/03/2005

When we're in Charleston, this is where we will stay. The furnishings, including the original artwork, the staff, the spaciousness of the rooms - just everything was superb. All within walking distance, however, the inn isn't in the middle of the congestion-a quiet place with parking right across the street. You can't go wrong staying here!!!

Very Relaxing - posted on 07/18/2005

The lobby was beautiful, open to the third floor with exposed antique beams and hardware. The standard room had plenty of space for the one night and the beds were very comfortable. We will are planning a return visit soon.

Our New Home in Charleston - posted on 10/14/2004

We came from a bad experience at another hotel to this wondeful place. The rooms are GORGEOUS, and unbelievably luxurious for the price. The location's fantastic; it's within walking distance of everything. The staff is wonderful. We'll be visitors here from now on.

Unique Inn - posted on 09/30/2004

Great location; walking distance to historic district and restaurants. An old paper warehouse built in 1900, you're staying in a part of history. Wine and cheese in the afternoon (5-6pm) is nice. Also, they have a PC with internet connection!I would definitely recommend this Inn.
