Spent our 25th anniversary here. Stayed in a king room with fireplace and the room and bathroom were very large and nicely decorated. Very romantic with the canopied bed. Perfect location for downtown shopping and dining all within an easy stroll in the heart of the historic district. Staff were friendly and attentive.

It's a shame that this hotel with it's large charming rooms and great location for shopping Charleston is not better taken care of. The carpets are dirty and the bathroom in our room needed a detailed scrubbing to remove the mold around the toilet and the grunge in the bottom of the tub.
