A quaint little three-story inn with historic details from Charleston’s 19th century great period, it is the restored home of a German merchant and Confederate blockade runner, John Rugheimer. Built in 1912 its prime location in the downtown district offers guests luxury and convenience, within walking distance to shopping, dining and attractions. Although the inn does not have a restaurant, it highly recommends Wentworth Mansion’s acclaimed Circa 1886, a few doors away (although there are numerous other choices nearby). Guests will enjoy their stay here and will want to come back again.
