The hotel is well located. The quality of service was excellent and we had a nice breakfast every morning. However, the other patrons were rather noisy and the open courtyard design meant we were awakened frequently throughout the night by people returning from the bars (as late as 4:00 am). No matter what floor they were on. We really never had a good night's sleep and that is the only reason I would hesitate to recommend it.

Our stay at the Andrew Pinckney inn was lovely. We were upgraded to a king suite that was spacious and beautifully decorated. The location is fantastic and parking plentiful.

This was a great hotel. Incredible location, beautiful room, maid staff was great. I can't believe this was only considered a 2 1/2 star hotel. Breakfast on the terrace was a perfect way to start the day, and a drink on the terrace was great way to end the evening. All in all, I was completely satisfied with this hotel.

Beautiful room, great location.

Ice maker was 3 floors away.

The 1840 Andrew Pinckney Inn greets guests through a three-story sunlit atrium. Visitors looking for affordable accommodations in a great locale with nice amenities will not be disappointed. Families with children are welcomed with lemonade and cookies. Located in one of the city's historic districts, its easy walking to many of Charlestons attractions, restaurants and art galleries. Concierge services will assist guests with dinner reservations or historic tours. On a pleasant day, theres much to discover in this enchanting city. Or get on the trolley for a circular ride around town.

This charming boutique hotel offers excellent accommodations and amenities for a reasonable price, especially being in the heart of Charlestons historic district. Its one-of-a-kind, a perfect alternative to larger hotels in the area. Intimate and off-the-beaten path in a residential area a few blocks from busy Meeting Street. Its private and secure. Guests will feel very welcome and will want to come back again.
