The architectural design of this modern 50-room hotel fits right in with traditional Old Charleston ambiance with a wood-paneled lobby in the rotunda and spiral staircase. Clean, elegant, friendly and courteous, it is located across the street from the Old City Market, within walking distance to Charleston Harbor, downtown shops and restaurants. A few blocks away are Whitepoint Gardens and the Battery lined with historic grand mansions. Aiming to make each guest welcome, a variety of hot and cold refreshments are available in the lobby all day. This lovely place ranks high for value and luxury.

A very nice modern hotel, it's in a wonderful location close to Charleston’s historic attractions and great restaurants. Horse-drawn tour carriages, Old City Market and sweetgrass basket vendors are right outside the hotel. No need to drive around by car with trolley bus stop a block away to explore the area, or even strolling the beautiful avenues. Everyone is friendly and helpful, making the French Quarter Inn an excellent choice for lodging in the “Holy City”. Read our customer reviews?

French Quarter Inn Accommodations

Nicely decorated, the oversized rooms and suites with king or queen-size beds feature private balconies, some with working fireplaces, a “pillow menu” for choice of pillows, desk, lounge chairs, cable TV, telephone and voicemail. The large bathrooms have whirlpool tubs, thick towels, and luxury toiletries. Guests can enjoy complimentary Continental breakfast in bed.

Amenities offered

Among the great amenities are afternoon wine and cheese social, milk and cookies at bedtime, champagne greeting on arrival, complimentary morning newspaper, high-speed Internet access, valet parking, concierge service, media library, laundry service and meeting facilities. Although there is no restaurant in the hotel, Tristan restaurant is located on the ground floor of the same building, near other good dining options. The hotel staff is ready to offer directions or recommendations.

Take International Blvd to I-526 E (toward Mount Pleasant) and to I-26 E to Charleston-travel about 8 miles.
Take the Meeting Street/Visitor's Center exit, turn right, and follow Meeting Street 2.1 miles to South Market Street.
Turn left on South Market Street.
Turn right on Church Street then an immediate left on Linguard Street.
The hotel entrance is on your left.
