Excellent Hotel. The best things about the hotel is that one is only 3-5 blocks from the main historic area, but the hotel is extremely quiet because it is on a low traffic side street. Many of the other hotels and inns are on streets where you get weekend bar traffic on the sidewalk until early in the morning because of the C of C being close by. They also have parking directly across the street from hotel, which is not always the case in downtown parking. One does pay a fee, but it was much more reasonable than some other hotels that I checked out.

We spent five nights at this hotel and we loved every minute. The staff was outstanding---so friendly and helpful and good at anticipating needs. The amenities were numerous and great---down to a computer at checkout where it was easy to print out boarding passes. The furnishing are charming, the restaurant is wonderful, and the location is terrific. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Staff very friendly and helpful. The location was a few blocks from where I would have preferred to stay. The beds were heavenly. Would definitely stay there again.

There was nothing particularly wrong with this hotel, but for 4 stars I just expected more. Cleaning service was mediocre, but rest of staff was very helpful. Rooms and pool area were pretty small (pictures are somewhat deceiving). Overall though we had a great time. The restaurant was very nice and had an excellent Sunday brunch. If we visited again we would likely try someplace else, but you won't be disappointed if you stay here.

I've stayed at this hotel 3 times in the last year and have never been disappointed. The staff, the rooms, the food and the location are all exceptional! It's a definite stay!

Was greeted as soon as we drove up by friendly doorman. Front desk staff was helpful and gave great suggestions on the area.

Very impressed with the hotel, we just came for a nite and arrived around 9:30 am and were allowed to check into our room. We had the Charleston Experience Package (all that was available) and were impressed w/ the drink selection and the breakfast (we ordered off the menu instead of the buffet). It is the perfect location, you won't need to use your car the entire time. Everything can be reached by walking. The hotel was very clean and had friendly staff.
