Mariott's top end hotels are very nice. I used priceline in Raleigh, NC for a Mariott and it was excellent also.

Located in the heart of the historic district and close to shopping, the Old City Market, Charleston Harbor and historic mansions, this six-story hotel features a beautiful lobby with marble floors and an ornate fireplace. The Brasserie on Wentworth, the hotels restaurant, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves fine French cuisine with a bit of Southern flare. Serving leisure and business travelers, the hotel offers meeting and event facilities, business services and a ballroom. From the attentive staff to the luxury guest rooms, this hotel is a great place to stay in the city.

The comfortable 166 guestrooms feature bonnet beds with down blankets, large bathrooms with granite vanities, luxury toiletries and soft bathrobes. Accommodations also include coffee/tea makers, high-speed Internet access, TV with premium channels, work desks, ergonomic chairs, and complimentary weekday newspapers.
