Great Historical Hotel - posted on 05/21/2007
Loved the ambience of the hotel & it was located close to everything-shopping, restaurants, historic Charleston. Wished we could have stayed more than one nite.
Nice Location, Great Place - posted on 04/06/2007
NOTE: THis is not an old historic hotel. It was built in the 1970s based on the plans of the original MIlls House. A great re-cereation done so well many might not knowit is not the original. Super Location
Liked it very much - posted on 03/19/2007
This is a very comfortable hotel with plenty of pillows ... they will provide feather pillows if you like. Located within walking distance of most attractions with helpful personnel. Highly recommend it.

Wow, this hotel has been completely renovated. the new rooms look great. It feels like a brand new hotel, yet it maintains it's history. Some work still underway. We can't wait to see it finished

This is a truly elegent hotel with a great location. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Some rooms look old, but they were renovating while we were there. Great food in the restaurant and the courtyard is very relaxing for a cocktail.

You are paying for location only. Hospitality and housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired
Wonderful Trip - posted on 07/26/2005
We loved the Mills House. It was so convenient to everything, we never moved our car the entire trip. We loved the service, every night there were chocolates on our pillows. The food and service at the restaurant was absolutely delicious, the crab cakes were outstanding! Love the fountain in the courtyard.
