Good location, clean and friendly service.
Excellent location.
One night of our stay we were unable to eat in the hotel restaurant, because it was closed to the hotel guest for a wedding.

The view of Charleston from across the river was spectacular, especially at night from the restaurant at the top floor. The room was comfortable and had a classy decor. Although we didn't request the service, I thought it was a nice touch that they have pillow service where you can select the type of pillow you would like. The only thing I didn't like was that the sliding glass door to the balcony was permanently locked and access to the balcony was not allowed. I like to open a window for fresh air and couldn't. Other than that everything was fantastic. Service couldn't be better. Restaurant was fabulous for a relatively inexpensive and quick breakfast buffet. Great service at the bar at night. Superb location. All around great Charleston hotel. We will return!
The view from the restaurant was spectacular, especially at night with all the lights reflecting on the water.
The room had a very tiny balcony in which access to was not allowed and there was no way to open the window for fresh air.

Above average for the usual chain hotel (this is part of the Intercontinental Hotel Group), its round design, inviting restaurant on the 14th floor with great views all day and when the city lights up at night, and nice amenities make this a good choice for visitors. Other nice touches are the free shuttle service (every half hour) into downtown Charleston, and the free parking on-site. Although breakfast is not included in the tariff, guests dining at the rooftop restaurant get a rare look at Charleston while enjoying fresh coffee; otherwise, there’s a waffle house next door.
