What a lovely place to stay!! The room was beautiful as was the river view. The breakfast was very good as was the reception food ( actually a meal) X on the dest was especially friendly and helpful. First class all the way.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The room was great for the five of us, which can sometimes be difficult to find. Two televisions were great. The reception in the evening was really a meal, and the breakfast was good. All for a very good price!

Stayed here while visiting Charleston on vacation. Clean hotel, rooms convenient for families with children- have 2 tv's. Across the river from downtown, but not a bad drive at all-very safe area. Lobby on second floor due to hotel being built on marshland; front desk staff very helpful. Stay here and save as opposed to paying more downtown-nice Marriott property.

Have stayed here many times and enjoyed it every time. Great place to stay. Staff very helpful and friendly. Unlike the other review I enjoyed the breakfast.

I HAVE STAYED HERE SEVERAL TIMES AND HAVE BEEN HAPPY EVERY TIME. GREAT PLACE TO STAY. THE STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY.

horrible pool,small and dirty.5 days couldnt get a towel or blanket to save my life,key card didint work the whole visit,breakfast not what you would expect from a marriot.

Riverview is a joke ,stream view is more like it. Our price was based on a special event in town ,but no one could tell us what the special event was.For the price I expected much better quality and the breakfast was no better than any others.Not worth the price but it was clean.

The first time I stayed here was in 2003. The hotel was very nice then. This past visit I had mold and mildew in my room and had to request a second room. the second room had mold and mildew on the ceiling in the bathroom but at least the entire room didn't reak like the first one did. Staff was pleasant.

Yes, the location was great, the rooms were extra clean and quiet. The breakfast was great. The best part was the staff. They were friendly, helpful and enthusatic.
