Located on the main thoroughfare of the city and two blocks to Marion Square that features art fairs, holiday events and festivals, this attractive five-story hotel is comfortable and accommodating. Catering to groups and budget conscious travelers, rooms are clean with quality furnishings and linens, and its bilingual staff is friendly and professional, happy to provide assistance and directions to guests. It will appeal to older travelers, families and college travelers. Hampton Inn guests receive award points on future stays, including parking vouchers. The Continental breakfast is above average. The private pool is inviting and easily accessible from most rooms.

For a chain hotel, it’s a nice one that offers a good value. From Charleston International Airport, take International Blvd. to I-526 East (toward Mount Pleasant) to I-26 East to Charleston. Travel on I-26 to the end (Meeting Street Exit). Turn right onto Meeting Street. Follow Meeting Street for approximately 1 1/2 miles just past Hutson Street. The hotel is on the right. Temporary parking is in front for check in and parking information.
