As far as Beaufort goes, this hotel is probably one of the nicest. That's not to say that this place was wonderful. It happens to be the only game in town. Overall, it wasn't bad for the price. Would I recommend it to someone? Maybe, with the caveat that, as it compares to the rest of the area, it is probably one of the better places to stay.
Convenient, clean good location.
Horrible air conditioning unit. Kept us awake all night.

The hotel was very clean and very convenient to where we were fishing and close to Downtown Beaufort. We would definitely recommend it to other people. We will stay there again.
It was convenient to the waterway and Downtown Beauport.
The breakfast was weak.

Room was good, quiet and beds not too bad for comfort. For the star level I was very satisfied. It was very convenient to locations to visit in town as well and the staff at front desk was very helpful.
Convenient and clean and quiet.
Beds were average but not too bad, closet next to front door and in open.

This Country Inn gets mixed reviews from travelers to Beaufort who have stayed here. There were some who liked the location while others would have preferred to be closed to the charming downtown area. There were minor moans from some who thought there was a need for better housekeeping. Despite this we allow the property a YES rating since many guests enjoyed their stay and found the rooms clean and comfortable. Several visitors said the staff here provided good southern hospitality and they would stay here again on future visits to the area.
