Econo Lodge Aiken hotel is located just two miles north of historic downtown Aiken and has been around since 1988. The hotel was renevoted in 2004. The hotel is nearby popular spots such as the Citizens Park and Lagley Pond. You can start your day off right every morning at this hotel by indulging in the complimentary deluxe continental breakfast provided. If you would like to eat elsewhere, you might want to try a restaurant that is adjacent to the property. Among the staff is a universal translator who is aided by a computer program. Business travelers might like to unwind after a long day with a stiff drink at the on-site bar and enjoy it at the relaxing lounge. If you are into sports, you might like to know about Langley Pond Rowing contest, the Polo Club and the Triple Crown Race Track. If travelling with the family, you can visit Aiken State Park.

Most of the hotel's public areas are quite dirty and don't seem to be cleaned regularly. Some rooms are dirty, have old mattresses and bedding, and have strange odors. All rooms are relatively spacious. The pool is nice and looks clean.

Econo Lodge Aiken Accommodations
The hotel features 60 rooms in a two story building. All rooms come with complimentary high-speed internet access, pay movies, free local calls, iron/ironing board and an alarm clock. For nourishment a coffee/tea maker, microwave and refrigerator (great for cool drinks) are provided.

If you bring your swimsuit with you feel free to take a dip in the hotel's indoor swimming pool or if it's relaxation that you are after hen you might want to ease into the hot tub. For a more hardcore workout the hotel offers it;s guests free gym access. You can store your valuables at the front desk's safe deposit box where it will be watched out for by the staff throughout the day. The hotel also offers business services which includes access to a fax machine and photocopying.
