Overall a great experience. The hotel was very clean. The bed was awful. They claimed to have no beds bigger than a double bed. We were very uncomfortable with its size and sleep ability.

Free breakfast was great.

Nicely appointed, clean, very nice. Our only disappointment was getting a room with One Full-size Bed. Prefer king-size or 2 beds.

Breakfast excellent, 24x7 fresh coffee excellent.

Our room was at end of a small hallway that housed about 5 maids carts and chattering maids all day long.

Generally I think it is a good hotel. However, this need hotels seem to think Americans have for readily available pornography, and the accident I had of running into it in a place my children could have viewed it, makes me not trust Hampton Inn (or any Hilton relative).

Great breakfast bar and outdoor pool.

Pornography in easily viewed exercise area.

Situated within walking distance of Penn State, Hampton Inn State College offers a wonderful jumping for leisure visitors as most of the dining, shopping and attractions of downtown are located just over a mile away. Other nearby points of interests includes Penns Cave and the fantastic Tussey Mountain Ski area. Although there are plentiful eateries in the area guests of this hotel wont have to venture out for the most important meal of the day as a complimentary hot breakfast is prepared daily. Too busy to dine in? Grab an On the Run breakfast bag.

The hotel is well appointed and holds a relaxing atmosphere throughout. The lobby is spacious and offers plentiful seating. Guestrooms are pleasantly exhibited and clean. The beds provided are very comfortable. Breakfast is well prepared and features tasty, not so typical, items, as well as varies a bit from day to day. There are various delicious restaurants close-by. The exercise room is more than adequate for a good work out.
