The rooms were clean and well appointed. Nice pool off lobby. The staff was friendly and attentive to detail.

The smoke free, award winning Courtyard by Marriott State College is perfectly situated in the Happy Valley of Pennsylvania. This State College hotel is near Pennsylvania State University, Bryce Jordan Center and world-famous Beaver Stadium. It's also close to many area businesses and local attractions like Penn's Cave. Enjoy strolling down the avenue in the adorable area of Historic Boalsburg, and tour the Pennsylvania Military Museum, and Stone Valley. This hotel is also convenient to University Park Airport, Downtown State College and the Palmer Museum of Art. Nearby recreation includes places to enjoy bicycling, bowling, fly-fishing, hiking, horseback riding, hunting, a jogging/fitness trail, miniature golf, a mountain biking trail, volleyball, squash, tennis, and snow skiing at Tussey Mountain.

I would definitely recommend the Courtyard by Marriott State College. Online reviewers had plenty of good things to say about this location. Guests though they received an excellent value for their dollar and were extremely happy with the level of hospitality and service given by the staff. Guests felt welcome and cared for. Guests also enjoyed the fact that they were so close to the local attractions and were glad to have so many dining options in such a close proximity. I would definitely recommend the Courtyard by Marriott in State College, Pennsylvania.
