The 402-room Marriott Pittsburgh City Center provides quality accommodation for the upmarket leisure and business traveler. The 14-story, non-smoking hotel is directly across from the Mellon Arena and a short walk to the city’s business district and downtown shopping. The full-service hotel has 16 rooms for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 940 guests. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access and a morning newspaper. Nearby landmarks and attractions include Heinz Field, home of the Pittsburgh Steelers, PNC Park, home of the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Benedum Center for the Performing Arts, the University of Pittsburgh and the Andy Warhol Museum.

All the guestrooms have a work desk with high-speed Internet access, Internet browser television with cable movie and news channels, pay-per-view movies, VCR player, refrigerator, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, pullout sofa bed, bathrobes, hairdryer and two-line telephone with voicemail and speakerphone. The bathtubs have spray jets.

From Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) 17 miles: Follow signs for 60 South to 279 North to Pittsburgh. Go through the Fort Pitt Tunnels and over the Fort Pitt Bridge. Follow signs to 376 East Monroeville. Take the Grant Street Exit (stay on Grant Street) make a right on 6th Avenue. Go two lights and make a left onto Centre Avenue. Go to the first light and make a right onto Washington Place. Make the very next right into the Marriott.
