The hotel exceeded my expectations.
Bed was beautiful and comfortable. Elegant. Very good location, close to universities.

All the guestrooms and three suites have a work desk with high-speed Internet access, two telephones with voicemail and speakerphone, coffeemaker, television with cable movie and news channels, pay-per-view movies, iron and ironing board and a hairdryer. The suites have the added benefit or a microwave oven and refrigerator. Connecting rooms, handicap accessible rooms and rollaway beds are available.

This hotel has an indoor heated swimming pool and a fitness center that is open from 5am until 11pm. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes and information on area events and attractions. This Holiday Inn is ideally located for the University of Pittsburgh but sadly many guests say that is the only major plus factor about this hotel. There were several complaints about poor housekeeping and the need for better sound insulation between the rooms. We still give the property a YES rating thanks to the speedy and efficient team of workers and the reasonable rates for a full-service hotel. Tip from those who have stayed here. If you want to avoid the car parking charges there is free on-street parking nearby.
