Great Hotel - posted on 04/13/2007

A very nice hotel. Very comfortable beds and nice rooms. Great room service menu. Good security and friendly staff. Will definitely stay there when we visit Philly again.

Wonderful stay... - posted on 09/23/2006

I enjoyed my bed and pillows so much that it was hard to get out of bed and go to the fitness center. The fitness center, whirlpool, and swimming pool were great!

Room rate is great; parking is outrageously overpriced. Rooms need only a small fridge to make them very good. Location is not the best but overall good.

Great location - posted on 06/01/2006

The hotel is in a great location and is very elegant, but I did not think that it had the best value for the money. The pool area was a disappointment.

Decent hotel - posted on 03/13/2006

Stayed for one night. The hotel staff was ok. We were going to park through the hotel, but the lot was full. The attendent had us go right across the street and self park for $25/day (no in/out). It appears to be the same place where the valets park your cars for $35/day, but I'm not sure if you get in/out with the valet parking. Room was clean, view was terrible.

An upscale business traveler - posted on 12/28/2005

It has a snobish air: they still charge $10 a day for internet and parking is valet only and $32 a day not including tips. Room service is open till 1am which is great though I'm never a fan of having gratuity included on the tab- particularly at 20%. It has a very nice business travelers pool, however it is so cold you would only want to lapswim and the lady at the towel desk is up every couple minutes to tell you about another rule you are breaking... :(

Good BUT... - posted on 10/17/2005

I stayed here for a business meeting. I checked in late, about 10:30 p.m., and the staff was very friendly and helpful, and I got a free upgrade to a suite. Very nice. BUT..whoever was in the suite before had broken a glass, and there were pieces all over the floor which I found walking around in my bare feet. Fortunately I didn't cut myself, but writing the comment card to the management resulted in ...nothing. Otherwise, the room/suite itself was OK if a bit dated, and (in addition to the glass problem) could have been cleaner too. Parking is expensive, over $30 per day.

Nice Hotel - posted on 08/04/2005

This hotel was great. It was within walking distance of the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. Our room was really clean and the staff was great. A little pricey on the parking and internet service should be free but otherwise, a great stay!
