Located in center city in the original American skyscraper, the PSFS building, Loews has re-created a post modern 4 star accommodation that fits the City of Brotherly Love well. A great stay for one who appreciates this style, but look out for the City noise unless on a upper floor. Pricey parking ($30.00 for valet, $19.00 for self park a few blocks away), pricey drinks ($18.00 for a call brand martini), and expensive but good room service food (watch out, they charge delivery fee and gratuity included, I inadvertently gave an additional 20% on top of that). The ground floor bar had great live Jazz on Friday night, and truly was a magnificent space. The location was central and safe, so you can walk to any number of restaurants or other urban amenities. I grew up in the Philadelphia area, and this hotel feels like Philly!! Enjoy.

Yikes--factor it into your budget, or else you may be slightly less excited!

Beautiful design and a very hip, downtown vibe that made the trip seem special!

You have to pay extra to use the gym, and there are no bathrobes in the hotel rooms.

Ginger

The hotel is in an excellent location. Staff is competent and helpful, but I would not describe them as friendly. Housekeeping was a disaster. Two lights in the room did not work. The remote control did not work, it seemed to need batteries. They didn't leave enough bath supplies, so we called and asked for more and let them know we needed to shower and make it to an appointment. It took three calls and 45 minutes to get our items, which were then partially not what we'd asked for. On the plus side, the hotel allows pets, which, while we did not bring any this time, is a huge asset. The beds were very comfortable and the room had a warm feeling (perhaps due to limited lighting). I would call this an upscale 3 star hotel, because it did not feel deluxe like other 4 stars we've stayed at. In all honesty I would prefer to stay somewhere else next time, but the pet policy just might get us back.

The location is perfect. The beds are really comfortable.

Two lights in the room did not work and it took far too long to get housekeeping items delivered.

This modern and plush hotel is a good choice for travelers on business and holidays. The family travelers would love special menus, games and programs designed for kids. This is also a pet friendly hotel. Most of the guests enjoyed their stay at the hotel and would not mind staying here again. But some guests felt that the fitness center and pool area amenities were expensive. Food choice was limited at the restaurant.
