Customer Reviews for Radisson Plaza Warwick Hotel Philadelphia

Great Trip! - posted on 04/25/2007

The Warwick is very conveniently in Rittenhouse Square- within walking distance to all the cool restaurants and shops in the area. The service was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean! We stayed right across from the elevator so it was loud, next time we'll request a room away from the elevator. Confusing to find the hotel because of all the scaffolding but not too much of a problem. We'll definitly be back and I'd recommend this hotel to anyone interested in staying in a great area of Philadelphia!

Short but sweet! - posted on 03/14/2007

The staff was extremely gracious and friendly; the room was beautiful and comfortable; and the location was perfect. The main lobby was undergoing renovation so I wasn't able to enjoy its splendor as I remembered from a previous stay. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

Stay Away - posted on 03/12/2007

This hotel is under major construction and they start at 6:30 a.m. I know I heard them and they are loud. Management said ....uhhh ... sorry but that's the way it is.

Good location, but hotel is under renovation - posted on 10/27/2006

Great location, but this hotel is under renovation. I was offered a renovated room, but the electronic lock would open, so I was given a room that was not renovated. The price however was not adjusted. It seemed expensive for the quality of the room.

Location is excellent and service was good however the parking is expensive. Valet parking is $24.00/day plus tax but there are other options if you drive around which is not convenient. Advertised free bottled water in the room but found only one bottle of warm water for three people to share. There is no refrigerator in the room and bathroom needed a lot of repair work.

good not great - posted on 07/11/2006

hotel needs serious renovation and exhaust fans in bathrooms. pricing at restaurants and bar are out of line for what you get.

Have stayed at the Warwick many times, almost always very pleased. Terrific staff, comfy beds, quiet. Could have used another easy chair and ottoman. Great location.

Impressed - posted on 04/07/2006

The Radisson was very nice. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was large and had a fold-out couch bed that was actually more comfortable than the double beds. Great location, food was fine at the hotel. Would definitely come back.

clean and reasonable - posted on 04/05/2006

service was excellent, the staff was always very pleasant and helpful. the rooms were clean, but nothing spectacular. access to the parking garage was through an alley next to the hotel and a bit difficult to find (i drove by it twice); it costs $20/day

great big rooms in a wonderful location - posted on 03/22/2006

We were really happy that our room was nice and spacious, then when we went and saw my mother's room, it was even bigger! The lobby is beautiful, staff very friendly, and the breakfast was perfect. You really can't beat this hotel- for the price.

More Than I Expected! - posted on 02/05/2006

The room was large and the bed comfortable (like I expected) and the staff was SO nice and helpful! Checked in late and without dinner reservations for the dressier of the two hotel restaurants. The staff graciously found a nice table for my party of two where we enjoyed one of the best meals we ever had! I will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Philadelphia area. A+ experience!

The bell of the ball - posted on 01/18/2006

Beautiful hotel set in historic building - right downtown. Plenty within walking distance, and bar and cafe available in hotel. Ceiling in hotel room falling apart but the big size of the room and comfy king bed made up for it

Could have been better - posted on 10/26/2005

The hotel overall was very nice. The room was very spacious. Good Location. I had a room with a queen bed. But it was a sofa bed. Not comfortable at all.

Good hotel - posted on 09/13/2005

This was a great hotel. My husband and I stayed here for a night. Great location to see everything-right in downtown. Only problem I had was that I left my pillow there and called twice about it and they never called back. Other than that-it was great.

great hood, great price, good sized rooms. all vending and ice were broken on my floor and the one above and below. blow drier and remote broken. if you want to use internet, ad ten bucks a night for it to the price and consider a hotel with free access.

I found this hotel to be an excellent value. Room was large enough to add two more double beds, one block from a great people-watching park, very well located for seeing the city and attending cultural events. Staff very friendly and responsive. Breakfast buffet very good.

Nice, comfortable stay - posted on 08/01/2005

It was a nice, old-fashioned hotel. Very home-like. I stayed in a room with two double beds that was very spacious. The beds were comfortable. The staff friendly and helpful. The lobby is beautiful. Location is great for visiting within Philadelphia. I had a nice breakfast. The description of the hotel did not include information on parking and I wasted about 15 minutes going in circles through Philadelphia's one way streets (at rush hour) before I discovered that there is a garage located in the alley behind the hotel that has a direct entrance to the hotel. One more plus!

Great Deal Found in Philly! - posted on 07/19/2005

We stayed here for 2 nights on a business trip. Every other hotel was charging high rates due to a convention in town but I was able to get a rate of $x a night! (Pre-paid). The valet parking was great! They even got our vehicle out so we could load it after we checked out and re-parked it until we were ready to leave. They wouldn't allow a late check out due to the convention. The coffee shop next door was a reasonable place to have a snack while waiting for my husband to return from the office after my daughter and I checked out.

Great Hotel! - posted on 07/17/2005

Great rate for the location! Hotel is in Downtown Philadelphia, just blocks from restaurants/shopping/attractions. The rooms are bigger than expected for price. It is a beautiful older building with a gorgeous lobby. We were very, satisfied for overnite stay. The hotel is convienent to public transit, Airport & Amtrak. Fitness room needs new equip, but overall, I rate the Radisson Warwick 9 on a scale of 10!
