I was very pleased while my stay here. The front desk staff was very helpful and quite pleasant.
Rooms a mess; mgmt fairly unresponsive - posted on 09/25/2006
1st room smelled and had a non-working toilet. 2nd room smelled not as bad and I fixed the sink drain plug. Coffee cups and pot visibly filthy. WiFi not available as reported. Front Desk and GM unresponsive; wouldn't return calls or returned them intentionally to the wrong #. Assured a fix and coffee pot and WiFi still broken. No more return calls from mgmt.

Good Location/Bad Service - posted on 09/19/2006
If your looking for a location close to the stadiums and/or Penn's Landing, then this is a good choice for you. However, if it's good service that you prefer, then stay away! We waited forever to check in as the front desk had only one staff member who was taking calls as well as attempting to check people in. Once we finally got to our room, our keys weren't activated properly and the front desk was not pleasant about it. Overall the rooms were clean and adequate, but the beds were as hard as rocks.
An alright hotel - posted on 02/01/2006
I liked the design of the rooms. I think the bathrooms were really small and I thought the rooms could use things like a mini fridge and microwaves. But overall I liked my room. I had a single but my friends had a double and their beds were really small

Very pleased with location. Only hotel within walking distance to Licoln Financial Field. Even closer to the baseball field. Hotel lacks some niceties, but the staff were very courteous to include the airport shuttle driver. If you need to catch a game and a good night's sleep, this is a sure bet.
Lousy hotel, great location - posted on 11/27/2005
This Holiday Inn is grossly overpriced and lacking services. Desk maintains the rooms were recently renovated, but the beds were hard, the rooms were barely adequate for the amount charged for the room. Limited menu and no nearby restaurants. Staff not knowledgeable or helpful. Ineficcient method of handing out parking passes.

We were pleasantly surprised with the convenient location, near Routes 76 and 95. The room was new and clean. The hotel provided free wireless internet, which was handy to check email.
Location only - posted on 10/28/2005
For a trip to the Linc you can't beat the location. However the rooms are lousy. My room's toilet leaked, the bathroom door had a hole in it and wouldn;t close, the walls smell like cheap paint and the staff is very weak in communication skills.

This hotel is perfect if you are coming in to see a game. It is a 5 minute walk to all the stadiums. It looked like getting out after a game is a major pain, so that makes it worth it right there. The Sports bar is nice, we all liked our food. The breakfast buffet was good with your standard food. They even made my son bacon special because all they had was sausage out. The rest is standard Holiday Inn room and amenities.
Overpriced & Poor Customer Service - posted on 06/30/2005
This hotel's proximity to Citizens Bank makes it attractive. But the "could care less" attitude of the staff, and total uselessness of the restaurant staff and bad food leaves one wishing that another hotel was available nearby.
hard to sleep - posted on 06/14/2005
The hotel is clean and very close to the arenas, but two things made it difficult to sleep. One is that the curtains are not designed to allow you to shut them all the way, so the morning sun woke me up way too early. Also we were in a room that adjoined another, and there was no soundproofing in the door. The neighbors talking kept us up.
Night time noise - posted on 03/09/2005
The floor we were on had several very loud people after 1:00 am; that made it very difficult to sleep.
good hotel, close to everything - posted on 12/10/2004
Very nice hotel, about 5 min. from downtown philly & within walking distance to philly's stadiums & venues. I was impressed with hotel interior & size. Not impressed with bed mattress. Uncomfortable and I could feel the springs. I d/n like the fact you could not close the curtains all the way to make room dark. We did not want to travel far to eat something before dinner and tried the sports bar. Bar is awsome to watch High Def games, but the menu was limited. A more expanded menu would be nice. Overall, nice hotel, I would stay there again.
Very close to sports arenas! - posted on 10/12/2004
For those looking for a hotel close to Citizens Bank Park or any other Philly sports complex - this is the hotel. It was very reasonably priced, much lower than other hotels in the area. We checked in wondering what was wrong with it. Other than a clogged drain in our tub, the hotel was immaculate. We could find very little wrong with this recently remodeled hotel. The staff was friendly and directed us to sightseeing before the baseball game. Food was typical Holiday Inn fare and was decent for the price. Nice hotel for the money and you can't beat the location if you're going to the game.
