the worst experience!! - posted on 03/20/2007

Everything about this hotel is a disaster! The room is smelly and terrible. You even see water leak mark on the ceiling. There?s no fan in the bathroom, so the moment you walk in, the room itself is really smelly.

Nice place! - posted on 01/02/2007

Room was clean, all ineterior spaces were spotless! Our room was pretty standard, didn't have a nice view, but was fine. Lots of extra pillows and high qulaity sheets/duvets. Staff were helpful and friendly. One drawback- not close to Center City, but very close to Septa buses and trains. Also, neighborhood (Society Hill) is absolutely beautiful;.

A good deal - posted on 08/22/2006

Overall, this is a solid hotel in the 4 star category. Great location. Rooms nice and spacious. Bed very good. I would recommend to others

Great Place - posted on 08/15/2006

The hotel was located within walking district of the historical sights and was a designated stop on the Trolley Works trolley/bus tour. Also, the ferry to Camden, NJ was just a few blocks away.

nice - posted on 07/10/2006

From the moment I drove into the valet parking lot until the day I left, I was impressed. The entire staff was courteous and full of info about Philly. The room was nice, but the bed wasn't so heavenly (my pillows were not firm) all in all--excellent will definitely return

Philly Family Weekend - posted on 07/04/2006

My husband and daughter were very pleased w/ the Sheraton Society Hill. We found the staff efficient, friendly and helpful, the room attractive and clean (though somewhat small), and the public sitting area beautiful. The hotel is a few blocks from the historic sites and walking distance to tour buses. We all enjoyed the pool very much. Our only complaint was that the restaurant is very expensive. However, there are lots of good places nearby. We'd def. stay there again on our next trip.

Sofa Bed - posted on 05/24/2006

I was guaranteed a king size bed, however, it was a sofa bed. that's a nice bait and switch.

a great time - posted on 04/22/2006

the Sheriden Society Hill Hotel was a great place to stay. We were just a few blocks away from all the major sites of Philadelphia. The rooms were clean and fresh, the maid service was friendly and on time, and the other personnel couldn't do enough for you. My husband and son really enjoyed the pool too! We had breakfast in the hotel restuarant and it was very good. Friendly staff as well.

just ok - posted on 04/12/2006

The public areas were beautiful. however the rooms were just a bit worn. Front desk/concierge/waitstaff & valets were more than courteous & accomodating. However bartender & bellhop, were almost rude. Definately made us feel that we were putting them out. Would try a different hotel for next Philadelphia visit.

The Perfect Spot - posted on 08/08/2005

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Checked us in quickly. Valet parking is pricey but almost a must in this busy section of Philly.

Great location - posted on 07/30/2005

Great location to see the sites all within walking distance of liberty bell, ben franklin, independence hall, etc. Parking was $22 at the hotel but they were all friendly and talkative. After the poor service in the Elizabeth, NJ Sheraton this was a welcome change. Lots of space nice room, highly recommend

A great spot in a great location - posted on 11/05/2004

The staff in this hotel are about the nicest I have dealt with (in Philly, it's usually guerilla warfare with hotel staff). The room was spotless and spacious, with those famous comfy Sheraton beds. Dinner was so-so (wine EXpensive!), but waitstaff dealt with issues well. I stay here just for a break (I'm from Philly). Great area, and my mom loves it too!

Nice place, nice location - posted on 09/27/2004

The rooms are nice and clean, the feather beds and pillows were a plus. Tourist sites are extremely close (within walking distance) There are several "happening" bars up the street and a few quaint resturants. Beware if you have a rental car....$25 a day for parking. Close drive to the ballparks. Overall the experience was great & hotel staff were friendly and eager to please. Would recommend.
