For anyone trying to cut down on chocolate, Hershey is not the place for you. I mean really, the town name is synonymous with chocolate so be prepared to be tempted. It’s like the red light district for chocoholics. There’s even a Chocolate Avenue that runs through the town. It’s no wonder when one of the largest chocolate companies in the world calls it home. Hersheypark is a theme park that provides you with great enjoyment, both with the fantastic rides and delicious treats. The Hershey’s Chocolate World is a wonderful complex that includes restaurants and shops, and of course a chocolate themed ride. Zooamerica isn’t filled with chocolate covered animals and is a refreshing break from all the sweetness that surrounds you. Enjoy strolling through the grounds and learn about the many fascinating creatures that call it home. Hershey Gardens is a stunning example of what planning ahead can grow in to. The gardens, butterfly exhibit and over 7,000 roses all help make this a wonderful retreat.
