The Fairfield Inn exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness, comfort and quiet. The rooms were well-equipped and nicely decorated, and the bed was extremely comfortable. USA Today was placed at my door in the morning, and there was a wide variety of food and beverages to enjoy at the complimentary continental breakfast.

Room was cheerful, neat and clean. Very good continental breakfast. Computer in lobby for public use.

It was farther away from where I needed to be than I expected. This address cannot be accurately Map quested. Call for directions.

I got in late and left early, so my stay was limited. But it was clean, staff was courteous, bed was VERY comfortable, and continental breakfast had some amazing selections.

Great continental breakfast.

Only one, slow, elevator.

The 104-room Fairfield Inn by Marriott Philadelphia/Exton is located one half mile south of the Pennsylvania turnpike in the Philadelphia suburbs. The four-story, non-smoking property is equally suited to the business or leisure traveler and is close to historic Valley Forge National Park. Items included in the room rate are high-speed Internet access, a hot breakfast with the Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich, local telephone calls, parking and a morning newspaper. It is a short drive to the drive to the Brandywine Valley, and within a 30-minute drive to Lancaster, PA's Amish country. The inn has two meeting rooms for business or social events. The larger can accommodate 50 guests.

All the guestrooms, and eight suites, have a well-lit work desk with high-speed Internet access, telephone with voicemail and speakerphone, refrigerator, microwave oven, cable television with movie channels, pay-per-view movies, pullout sofa bed, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, and a hairdryer. Bathtubs have spray jets and video games and players are available for rent.

The complimentary breakfast is the only meal served here but there are numerous restaurants nearby including the American Bar and Grill, Longhorn Steakhouse and Vickers Tavern. Several families used this inn as a base for touring Pennsylvania and said it proved to be the ideal spot. Other former visitors were impressed with the help they received from the friendly crew of employees. Many who have stayed here said they would return to this inn on future visits to the area and had no hesitation in recommending the property to others.
