We really enjoyed our stay and my wife and I got more than we expected. It wasn't glamorous but it was worth more than the price we paid.
It was 1/2 mile from the house I grew up in. Convenient to Pittsburgh.
If one is not familiar with the area it may be hard to find.

The rooms are spacious with a kitchenette, which I really appreciate since I always travel with family and kids. The wireless Internet is cheap ($5 for the whole stay). The Newark hotel even made it free for me, but not Pittsburgh! There is free parking. The hotel is always on the outskirts of the city, but very close to a highway exit. The bad thing is they never exchange your room for a room with 2 beds. They never offer you a baby crib. So I have to sleep me, my wife and 2 kids on a Queen bed! There are no amenities outside the rooms: a restaurant, no place to eat in group, not even bathrooms.
Kitchenette.
There are no options for a family with young children who cannot stay alone in a separate room.

Extended Stay America is very clean and the staff was extremely helpful. Location was easy to leave, however, extremely difficult to find.
The hostess was very professional.
We needed rooms that were connected and they could not accommodate me.
