My company allows only a certain dollar per night for reembursment. I am a fussy sleeper, and need a quiet comfortable clean place to lay my head at night.

This hotel was a friendly and quiet respite that offered all the great amenities you would expect from Holiday Inn. Even though we were delayed in checking in until after midnight, the gentleman at the front desk was gracious and kind, and went out of his way to ask and make sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely stay there again!

I liked the fresh smell of the room when we walked in.

There was no pool.

The 105-room Holiday Inn Express Altoona is located in Altoonas business district, just off I-99, and provides quality accommodation at a reasonable price for both the business traveler and vacationers. Items included with the room rate at this two-story hotel are a hot breakfast buffet, wired and wireless high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, in-room coffee and parking. There are seven rooms available for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 100 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include Altoona Curve, Benzels Bakery, Blair County Convention Center, Delgrosso Park, Horseshoe Curve, Jaffa Mosque, Lakemont Park, the Railroaders Museum and the Slinky Action Zone.
