The outside and lobby are very nice, we did not eat at the restaurant but we had the continental breakfast and it was above average for continental. We enjoyed the pool area and exercise room, they were both well maintained. We were in town for a family event, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Very cozy atmosphere, free internet, nice pool, good continental breakfast.

We had to ask twice for a roll-a-way bed, but they didn't charge us for it.

Although my husband requested a smoking room, we have never stayed in any hotel that smelled so bad. We had to sleep with the window open as far as it would open. They really need to clean drapes, bedspread and carpet more often. It made me wonder how clean the rest of the room really was.

The server for the free breakfast was very nice.

The maid forgot to give us a coffee filter for the coffee pot,

I really enjoyed my stay at Country Inn and Suites. The staff was very friendly and I had plenty of room. The bed was comfortable as well. One extra bonus is their book lending program.

I liked the friendly staff and the free shuttle rides within 5 miles.

It was a half hour Max ride to the city.

Located near the Carlson Portland Airport, the Country Inn and Suites is a great option for guests waiting for a connecting flight. However, the hotel is also only a 15-minute drive or a short max train ride from downtown Portland, which allows you to take in a few of the sites. The Country Inn and Suites also provides an airport shuttle service making your stay even more stress free.
