Usually love this hotel and service, however I got stuck with a smoking room which was nasty for a non-smoker. I wasn't able to switch and didn't have a pleasant stay.

This hotel deserves its 3 stars.

It was conveniently located close to downtown with easy access to I-5. Clean and recently remodeled.

I made a request for a crib and the staff had to be reminded about it hours later.

The Holiday Inn Portland Lloyd Center is a very conveniently and centrally located Hotel. Sitting inside "Fearless Square", it is just a few blocks away from a light rail ride to anywhere you need to go (Downtown, Lloyd Center, the Airport, etc.). The staff is nice, the rooms are nice, and the parking is free! What more could you ask for?

The front desk staff was, for the most part, knowledgeable and very helpful

The quality of the bed in the room was subpart.

The 241-room Crowne Plaza Downtown is within walking distance of the Oregon Convention Center and provides top quality accommodation for both the business and pleasure traveler. Items included with the room rate at this nine-story, non-smoking hotel are high-speed Internet access, a shuttle to nearby attractions, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper and in-room tea and coffee. The property is located off Interstate 5 and has 11 meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 630 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include the Portland State University, the Rose Garden Coliseum, Portland Meadows racetrack, the Oregon Zoo, the Columbia River Gorge, Multnomah Greyhound Racetrack, Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, the Portland Art Museum and shopping at Lloyds Center, Oregon's largest and oldest shopping mall which is one mile from the hotel.

This hotel was a Holiday Inn. It has now been totally renovated and upgraded to a Crowne Plaza. Many guests liked it as the Holiday Inn and thinks it has improved greatly but so have the rates. The rooms here are well equipped, spacious and spotlessly clean. The professional team of employees handles problems promptly and has good advice about sightseeing, shopping and dining. The location is excellent within walking distance of some of the citys top tourist attractions. Most clients say they have no problem recommending the hotel to fellow travelers and plan to stay here themselves on future visits to the area.
