Air conditioning worked well. Staff was friendly. The indoor pool was open till midnight, which was good. However, they should really make a rule about kids. The place was packed with screaming kids and teenagers till almost 11pm. My editor and I had to dodge balls and floating things till the kids finally cleared out of there.

Indoor pool and hot tub was nice.

Parking way too expensive.

This hotel is going through a room by room renovation. They are not using low VOC paint, so the odor today may be unpleasant for some. In a few months I 'm sure this will not be an issue

Location and breakfast buffet.

Newly painted rooms have new paint odor.

Many visitors to Portland say this inn is the ideal place to stay. The suites, with a full kitchen, have more space than the neighboring full service hotels. And here you dont get charged for Internet access or breakfast. Many families said the two-bedroom suites made the perfect base for touring the area. Extended stay guests said the grocery shopping service worked well. It enabled them to eat in and save money on restaurant dining. Most clients said they would recommend the property to others and said they would stay here again on future visits to Portland.
