I enjoyed my stay at Marriot City Center. Staff very professional and the bed was very comfortable. Slept better than usual at a hotel.

I would highly recommend the Marriott Portland City Center. The hotel renovation is evident not only by the rooms decor, but also the functionality of the heating and air conditioning system. The staff was friendly and the bed linens were superb. I will definitely stay here on my next visit.

Great location downtown, super clean room, although somewhat small. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was a pain...guess all of downtown is like that though.

we were absolutely delighted with our stay. the service was 5 star beginning the day BEFORE we arrived, w/Lisa, the concierge, booking our massage appts waiting for us on arrival. they made car reservations for us, theatre, dinner, gave us maps of the wine country, highlighted great areas to see. We felt at home, and like we were movie stars the treatment was so royal! we room was spacious and clean, and housekeeping was at the door within 5 min if you needed anything. i would recommend this hotel WITHOUT reservation!!!

Thought we were getting a 4 star for our Valentines Day, but it was def. a 3-31/2. No paper, ref, branded bath products, maybe robes....good grade furnishings, clean but no special treatment here.

Great downtown location for shopping, movies, exploring. Easy access to public transpo and bike paths. We brought bikes and the hotel stored them in their inner sanctum, though there wasn't really room. We offered to keep them in our room, but they really didn't want that and were courteous when we wanted to take them in and out. Comfy beds, very clean, great shower, nice view of Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Hood. Missing from room: telephone book, 1 shower curtain hook, and do not disturb door hanger.
