The hotel is a short drive from Cascade Station, Portland’s newest shopping and dining experience. Other area landmarks and attractions include downtown Portland, the Rose Garden Coliseum, Portland Convention Center, the Oregon Zoo, the Columbia River Gorge, Multnomah Greyhound Racetrack, Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, the Portland Art Museum, downtown Vancouver and shopping at the Lloyd Center Mall which is eight miles from the hotel.

According to Portland visitors this Holiday Inn Express provides great value and has rooms that are well equipped and spotlessly clean. Many appreciated the extra pillows and comfortable beds. This is an older hotel but it is well maintained. There were good comments about the airport shuttle, courteous and attentive staff and the complimentary breakfast buffet.
