The location is very good. And the rooms had everything you need and the staff was helpful. However the rooms are a little outdated, especially the bathrooms. And the non-smoking room we were in smelled like smoke. However, we told the front desk before we went out to dinner and the room did smell better by the time we got back. Overall, it is a good hotel.

Location. The hotel is close to restaurants, shopping and Intel.

Our non-smoking room smelled like smoke but it was corrected.

Would recommend this hotel to anyone. great staff close to golf courses.

Great location, well lighted, nice pool and hot tub, breakfast buffet.

4 Marriott's are out there slightly confusing.

The 149-room Courtyard by Marriott Portland Hillsboro is 12 miles west of downtown Portland and provides quality accommodation at economical rates for both business and leisure traveler. Hillsboro, home to several high-tech companies, has earned the title of Silicon Forest. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The three-story, non-smoking hotel has one meeting room for business or social functions that can accommodate 85 guests. There is a range of shops and restaurants within walking distance of the property and six golf courses within a short drive.

It was the welcoming smiles in the lobby that many guests remembered from their visit to this Courtyard by Marriott. And things only got better. There were many good comments about the spacious rooms, the breakfast buffet and the indoor pool. Those touring the area said shopping at the nearby Streets of Tanasbourne was well worthwhile. There some minor complaints about some rooms being in need of refurbishing. It is highly possible, knowing how Marriott maintains its properties, that the work is already underway.
