Short distance to the Shakespeare Plays and downtown Ashland. We stayed in the older part of the motel, did not see the newer part which may have had larger rooms. Clean and the staff was friendly.

Good location for Shakespeare Festival.

Rooms small.

Best Western Bard's Inn maintains a charming rustic and down to earth appearance that almost appears to dig right into the surrounding landscape. Its humble yet picturesque aesthetic complements the classical significance of this town. Shakespearian enthusiasts will appreciate this hotels centralized location as it is within walking distance of the areas popular theaters. For a more excursion minded experience, guests can also shop at a nearby plaza or hit nearby ski slopes. Although this property is right on the towns main thoroughfare, breakfast neednt be a thought as it is included in the stay rate.

Perhaps this hotels most attracting feature is its centralized location just a couple blocks from the popular theaters. It is also a neat and well put together establishment that is run by a very friendly and helpful staff. Accommodations are spacious and well decorated, however some rooms receive noise from a nearby highway. Public facilities are also kept in fine condition.
