Travelers to Tulsa who wanted to be close to downtown, but not pay the higher prices charged there, said this Holiday Inn Express proved to be the perfect place to stay. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and squeaky clean. The cheerful crew of employees had lots of helpful hints about sightseeing, shopping and dining and the complimentary breakfast proved better than many guests expected. Historical note: The property was Tulsa's first orphanage in July 1924, and has been reconstructed into a modern hotel, with the exception of the original fireplace in the breakfast room.
