The 151 all-suites Residence Inn by Marriott Oklahoma City Downtown/Bricktown is an extended-stay hotel offering spacious, affordable accommodation for both the leisure and business traveler. This six-story property was designed by John Q. Hammons and is Bricktown's first hotel. The pet-friendly, non-smoking inn is located next to the Bass Pro Shop, across the street from the AT&T Bricktown Ballpark, and adjacent to the Sonic Headquarters. The Bricktown Canal runs directly behind the hotel, with a water taxi stop that connects to the hotel walkway. Items included with the room rate are a breakfast buffet, a social gathering on weekday evenings, high-speed Internet access, parking, local telephone calls and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The inn has three meeting rooms. The largest can accommodate 300 guests.

It is strange how some people remember their visit here. There were complements for speedy elevators, a great lunch at the nearby Bricktown Brewery and a manager’s reception where they ran out of food. Earlier guests said this was a great place to stay with reasonable rates, and employees that were friendly and efficient. All the suites have a fully equipped kitchen with microwave and conventional oven, full-size refrigerator with icemaker, toaster, dishwasher, coffeemaker and a full set of cutlery and crockery. There is a work desk with high-speed Internet access, two-line telephone with voicemail and speakerphone, pullout sofa bed, cable television with movie channels, pay-per-view movies, hairdryer and iron and ironing board. Some of the suites have a fireplace and balcony.

The inn has an outdoor swimming pool, exercise room and sports court. There is a gym at the YMCA close to the property. This inn offers a grocery shopping service and there is a full service business center on-site. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes and information on area events and attractions. Other amenities include a coin-operated laundry, dry cleaning service, an ATM, vending machines and a picnic area with barbecue grill.

From Oklahoma City/Will Rogers Airport (OKC) 10 miles: Take Terminal Drive/Meridian Avenue out of the airport. Go five miles to Interstate 40 East, and take Interstate 40 East to Exit 150B (Harvey Ave.) Exit right on Harvey and go two blocks to Reno. Turn right on Reno and go four blocks. The hotel is located across from the SBC Bricktown Ballpark on the right side.
