The Sheraton Oklahoma city is conveniently located across the street from the Cox center, and within easy walking distance of the ford center arena, myriad botanical gardens/crystal bridge, and brick town with its multiple dining/entertainment options. I was met at the door by a bellhop who graciously helped me with my bags to the reception desk. The room was attractive and relaxing. Good size desk for computer and whatnot. The bed was incredibly comfortable. I love the Sheraton sweet sleeper beds. I ordered room service breakfast the next morning, and it was good, arrived promptly and hot (all too often room service food does not arrive hot). All hotel staff I encountered were friendly and aimed to please. There was a message on my voice mail reminding me to move my watch forward for daylight savings time (time change took effect that night), and after my room service breakfast was delivered I received a call asking if everything was to my liking. The only downsides would be the disposable cups and glasses. I think that's tacky, bad for the environment, and well below the standards of the Sheraton hotel chain. The bathroom was also very small, which could be problematic for people sharing the room. For that reason I would not recommend this property for families. This is definitely a business/convention oriented hotel, and its location in downtown Oklahoma city, as well as the facilities, suits the business traveler quite well. I also recommend this hotel for a romantic getaway because of the Sheraton sweet sleeper bed, the proximity to brick town and other downtown Oklahoma city attractions, and other amenities to pamper the guest, such as the day spa in the hotel. all in all a good stay, and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

I was satisfied with my choice in this hotel, as it was a short walk to the ford center, Bricktown and was clean. However, I expected more staff to be visible during the rush of morning check-out. There was one person at the main desk, one bellman & one valet attendant. Those last 15 minutes at the hotel were irritating and left a negative memory.
