For the price this hotel was hardly what I expected or experienced while using this service. Inadequate and uncomfortable chair and desk made this a less than 2 Star establishment and yet I was charged as if it were a three star. I travel 95% of the time for my business and having a location with adequate room to complete work while on business trips is a main feature I look for in a hotel room. This one was inadequate.

Cleanliness and comfort are what I remember most about this stay.

Prices for this type of hotel have steadily increased and i will consider other services in the future.

Niece clean hotel, with good size rooms, very friendly staff, centrally located in town.

The lobby was comfortable, had Wireless Internet and a TV.

Swimming pool was cold and Jacuzzi not working.

The 64-room Fairfield Inn Youngstown provides reasonably priced accommodation equally suited to the business or pleasure traveler. The three-story, non-smoking is within walking distance of many restaurants and shopping and a short drive from downtown Youngstown. Items included with the room rate are an expanded continental breakfast with the Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a copy of USA Today, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There is one room available for business or social functions that can accommodate 28 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include eight golf courses, Youngstown State University, Southern Park Mall, Boardman Township Park, Canfield Fairgrounds, Millcreek Park, the Butler Institute American Art and the Hummel Gift Shop.

Frequent visitors to Youngstown say this Marriott offers good value for money. Those who spent a little more for a suite said the sitting area was ideal for watching television. The hotel has replaced the furniture in all of the bedrooms, which is a plus factor. There were complements for the friendly and efficient staff and most guests said they would stay at this inn on future visits to the area and recommend the property to others.
