Items included with the room rate at this two-story motel are a continental breakfast, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a newspaper on weekday mornings and parking. Area landmarks and attractions include five golf courses, the Kalahari Resort with its indoor water park, the ferry to Lake Erie Islands, Sandusky Speedway, the African Safari Wildlife Park, the Merry Go Round Museum and Thomas Edison’s birthplace and museum and shopping at the Sandusky Mall.

Sadly this is one of those motels that get more negative reviews than it gets good reviews. On the plus side is the location, close to Cedar Point, good prices and some employees who try hard to provide friendly and efficient service. Downside problems are the need for some improvement in housekeeping and some upgrading for the rooms. YES, if price is the major concern, NO is you are looking for squeaky clean and modern.
