Sandusky is located along the shores of Lake Erie. Making full use of this beautiful natural resource, Sandusky created the Bayfront Corridor giving you plenty of chances to enjoy the surrounding nature. This area is also great for many water sports. Make sure you take advantage of the many islands just off of its coast. South Bass is well known for being a tourist drawing card and Johnson Island is a mecca for history buffs. Sandusky also has a beautiful downtown that is filled with historic buildings and interesting places to hang out.
Although the islands, historic downtown and great shores are reason enough to come here the biggest is Cedar Point Amusement Park. Did you know that this amusement park was voted as one of the very best in the world? How can you not go? There are over 150 rides and attractions, 16 phenomenal roller coasters and even water rides. Get ready for an amazing time... just don’t eat before you get on rides like the Top Thrill Dragster.

I have visited this beautiful city and beautiful Cedar point in the summer of 1984. I was student in CWRU. I still remember that beautifully quiet and peaceful place. Since then, it has been a dream to accompany my family to the amusement park.
