About the Econo Lodge Airport West

You'll be near the Cleveland International Airport, as well as many local tourist attractions, when you stay at the EconoLodge Airport West in North Olmsted. The central location places guests just two miles from the airport with Westfield Great Northern Mall, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and The Flats a hop, skip and a jump away. Sports fans will love easy access to the Cleveland Browns stadium, Jacobs Field and The Q arena, and families will find this a convenient home base even when visiting Cedar Point 30 miles away. Guests have the advantages of free parking and morning breakfasts, free locals calls and daily papers, and free wired/wireless access in rooms and throughout the hotel. Rooms have been recently updated with new furnishings, beds, carpet and linens, and have ample features to help you make the most of any stay.

This place has guests crying "Foul!" They say the website descriptions are not up to snuff, and there were enough things "out of service" (like HBO) that they doubted they were intended to work at all. Other complaints were an overall dirty, dingy feel, unreliable internet service, dirty carpets, stained linens, broken room features, and a bad area. Obviously, it can't be recommended at this time. I'd like to note however that most reviewers had wonderful things to say about the staff, and there is a shuttle (sometimes) available, but you have to register ahead of time with the desk. Econo Lodge Airport West Accommodations

Rooms come packed with features, and options. In addition to basic accommodations, the EconoLodge Airport West offers nonsmoking and handicap accessible rooms to its guests, as well as whirlpool suites. Basic rooms include hair dryers, irons and ironing boards, coffee makers, and offer microwaves, refrigerators and VCRs for rent. Rooms also include ergonomic workstations with phones and data ports.

Amenities offered

The location is not the only amenity at this centrally placed budget hotel. Vacationers will appreciate free parking (including bus and truck parking) free continental breakfasts, free daily papers and free local calls. Business travelers will enjoy the additional services available like copy and fax capabilities, and everyone will enjoy the free wireless internet available throughout the hotel (wired in your room). Those in need can rent extras - like video tapes, and VCRs - though premium extended cable offers plenty of entertainment options from the privacy of your room.

From I-80: Take Exit 10 to I-71 North. Follow to I-480W and exit at Clague Rd. Take a right to Lorain/I-90W/Clague Rd, followed by a left onto Lorain/I-90E Columbia Rd. Take another right onto Lorain Rd and follow to address.
