The bed was extremely comfortable. The pool was large and generally unoccupied. They did charge me for the local newspaper everyday, which I did not request, but, when I questioned it, they removed it from my bill. Although this is an express hotel, so they did not have a restaurant, there are eating facilities within walking distance.

It was convenient to my visiting.

No restaurant or lounge.

The 83 all-suites Holiday Inn Express Mentor LaMalfa Conference Center is a short drive from Cleveland and provides quality accommodation at an affordable price for both the business traveler and vacationer. Items included with the room rate at this three-story, non-smoking hotel are a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, in-room coffee and parking. There are five meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 3,000 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include the Rock Hall of Fame, the Mentor Civic Arena, James A. Garfield's Home, Lake Farm Parks and the Kirtland Mormon Temple.

Most travelers to Mentor who have stayed at this Holiday Inn Express say they cannot wait to return. The suites have delightful European décor and are fully equipped. The team of workers gets top marks for providing the best in service. Several guests said the complimentary breakfast was by far the best continental breakfast they had enjoyed in any hotel. There may be less expensive places to stay but most clients say the additional money is well spent here.
