Customer Reviews for Baymont Inn and Suites Columbus Airport

Comfy Columbus - posted on 11/02/2006

Although this hotel did not have a restaurant, a free shuttle bus was readily available to take me to a nearby one. The room was fine and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. All in all a good choice for a stopover before the long flight back to UK.

Did not like the Baymont Inn - posted on 11/06/2006

The hotel was outdated, our reservation was incorrect. However the front desk took care of the issue. On our return stay at your hotel we were put in a room where the door had obviously been severely damaged. We stayed only because we arrived so late and were in need of sleep. Overall the rooms were old, bathroom was way too small, not enough towels provided. Overall very disappointing considering the information that is given on the internet site. I will not stay here again.

The room was adequate and clean and quiet. The front desk was not much help. Wouldn't even answer the phone to set a wake-up call!

O.K. - posted on 04/04/2006

Price was average, room left a great deal to be desired. Carpets not very clean, no inside corridors, fair breakfast, staff was friendly.

Service - posted on 01/20/2006

I requested a receipt when checking out and the young man said they would email it to me and I have never received it and I needed for my business taxes which does not make me a satisfied customer.

never again - posted on 11/28/2005

The evening staff were very rude and not helpful at all!! Recliner in room had dried food on it as well as the floor behind the chair. The shower walls had mildew and so did the shower curtain. The morning staff did help us when needed and was very courteous

Really Good - posted on 08/31/2005

After reading some of the reviews of this hotel I wasn't to sure about it. But I was really surprised to find out that the hotel was really close to the airport, the shuttle was great, the room was really nice and clean.

We found this hotel to be a great place to stay for the price, but don't expect any extra amenities...it is a very "bare-bones" experience.

this is a good hotel to stay for short trips, close to the airport and relatively inexpensive.

Great staff - posted on 11/24/2004

The room was a nice size. Being able to leave our car there while we were on vacation was wonderful! We just missed the shuttle to the airport and the office staff called the shuttle back instead of making us wait for the next one. We really appreciated that!

Cross Country Inn - posted on 10/19/2004

I have to say that I was not at all happy with our stay at the Cross Country Inn. This is the first time that my friend and I have stayed in a CC Inn and it will probably be the last. First of all, we had trouble finding the hotel (obviously, not the hotel's fault). However, when I called the hotel from the road and asked for directions on how to get there, the woman that I spoke with was very impatient with me and was EXTREMELY impolite. She finally just said, "hold on a minute", put me on hold, and apparently transferred me to a man who was also on duty. This man was a little more polite, but still wasn't able to direct me to the hotel or a surrounding restaurant. My friend and I were running the Columbus Marathon the next morning, so all we really wanted to do was find the hotel and a restaurant so that we could eat and get a good night's sleep before the race. The room was fairly clean (there were some hairs on the floor and bed, a little bit of paper trash on the floor, and a spot of what looked to be like blood on the wall behind a dresser-we were in room 219). In summary, the room was probably adequate for the amount that we paid, but the service level was absolutely unacceptable. I travel a lot and do like the low price of the CC Inn, but, unless I can be compensated for what happened to us or I can be guaranteed that the employees at the next CC Inn will be more polite, I think that I'll just pay the extra $20.00 and go somewhere else. Thank you for allowing me to post this review, -Joanne Black

I had already booked this property when I read the Traveler Review and then got nervous. But, I was very pleasantly surprised to find a very clean and neat property overall, with unexpected attention to detail in the room. You can call for the Shuttle at Baggage Claim and it's less than a 5 min. ride. Be sure to ask the Desk Clerk where your room is, especially if you're lugging bags.
