The neighborhood is something the hotel can't fix. Its' sad. We always stayed in four and five star hotels. The fact that with this hotel we were well pleased says loads for the business. It was clean. We were apprehensive about that. The staff was very professional and pleasant. The machines,i.e., candy, pop, ice were all just outside the door. I'd go back; no problem.

Everything was convenient to our room. The staff was great.

Lamp over bed doesnt work. Motor sound. Coffee pot.

This hotel is in need of some cosmetic repairs, but the room was clean. The location was great for us, with convenient access to 71. Most places we visited were less than 10 miles away. For the price, it couldn't be beat.

The pool is very nice, and the hot tub deliciously warm.

The breakfast is advertised as great, but really isn't much.

The 174-room Clarion Hotel and Suites Conference Center is located north of Columbus close to the Anheuser-Busch Brewery and provides affordable accommodation equally suited to families on vacation or the business traveler. Items included with the room rate are a deluxe continental breakfast served between 6.30am and 9.30am, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a copy of USA Today, in-room coffee and parking. Conference and banquet rooms are available for 150 guests. Sadly this Clarion Hotel gets more negative comments than good reviews. We still give it the YES rating because the rates are reasonable and most employees work hard to try and insure that all guests have an enjoyable stay. Hopefully when management reads this and other reviews something will happen to turn things around. It doesnt take much to make the difference. Those who did enjoy their time here said the breakfast was good and the indoor pool was a great place to relax after a tough time of sightseeing or working.
