Great hotel in downtown Columbus, not overly upscale but much better than other hotels I've stayed at. I did not know that parking was valet only at 18$/day, though there was a $6 garage we found a couple of blocks west of the hotel.

Nice facility, amenities, and staff. HDTV.

The 149-room Courtyard by Marriott Columbus Downtown provides quality accommodation at an affordable price equally suited to the business traveler or families on vacation. The five-story, non-smoking hotel has four meeting rooms available for social or business functions. The largest can accommodate 80 guests. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The hotel is near the Columbus Convention Center, Arena District, Palace and Ohio Theatres, Veterans Memorial, COSI, German Village, Columbus Zoo and the LifeStyles Pavilion. There are four golf courses a short drive from the property.

Many visitors to Columbus and who need to be downtown say this hotel is in an ideal location within walking distance of some fine restaurants. The helpful and friendly employees are full of information to help out-of-towners find their way around. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable and prices reasonable for a downtown hotel. Words of advice from those who have stayed here: Rooms on the lower floors can get noisy at night from outside traffic and pedestrians.
