Nice public spaces, pleasant room, sufficiently clean and decently appointed. Only complaint was difficult-to-find entrance due to construction on the street and very poor valet service. Otherwise a solid 3-star hotel.

Great location, nice lobby/public spaces.

$22/day valet was only parking option, but for that price the valet service was very poor.

Overall, out stay met our needs and expectations. Only one staff person was not courteous, everyone else seemed more than accommodating.

The size of the room and bathroom. Responsiveness of housekeeping staff.

We were not able to request the type of room we preferred (king).

Tee rooms were great, the desk staff was helpful, the services were top notch. It was a top quality hotel which led to a pleasant stay. It is walking distance to ballpark and Hall of Fame, our two destinations.

Pool , hot tub and exercise area were top quality.

The lobby was a bit Spartan, neighborhood under quiet construction.

The Wyndham Playhouse Square is a fine option for a business trip or to enjoy Downtown Cleveland entertainment and nightlife. Conveniently located near major downtown office buildings and just steps from Playhouse Square, with four major theaters for the performing arts. Within a few blocks is Jacobs Field, home of Indians, Cleveland Browns Stadium and Quicken Loans Arena. After a business meeting or show, you will find excellent dining choices at Winsor's, the restaurant in the hotel lobby, as well as the spacious guest rooms. You can enjoy the view from the open-air terrace overlooking Playhouse Square and watch the theatergoers arrive. There is an indoor lap pool and fitness center, and other first class amenities that Wyndham is known for, including high speed Internet, in-room movies, and room service.

The hotel has 205 rooms, all with interior entrances and with all the modern conveniences. You can relax with Cable TV or an in-room movie, or finish that last bit of work on the high speed Internet, on a desk with lamp with a Herman Miller ergonomic chair. There are all the necessities such as hair dryers and ironing boards you would expect at a Wyndham.

Along with the room amenities, the hotel offers a fine restaurant, Winsors right in the lobby. Star restaurant is just across the street in Playhouse Square. The Wyndham Playhouse Square is a great choice if you have business in Downtown Cleveland, or plan on attending a show or sporting event downtown. Service is good at the hotel. You can take advantage of high speed Internet for business or diversion, or use the workout and pool facilities for relaxation. Only valet parking is available, and at $22 is not a bargain. Construction is an issue around the hotel, making arrival a bit difficult. The Winsor's restaurant is highly regarded, but some of the choices can be expensive. There are many other dining options close by. As with any downtown hotel, be prepared for the occasionaly panhandler, and avoid unsafe situations.
