Perfect for Baseball Weekend - posted on 08/09/2006
We were in town for the Braves series against the Reds. It is definitely within walking distance to Great American Ballpark. The beds and bath were great, as advertised. It is a little bit of an old building - but the rooms were great, and the people working there were very friendly and helpful.

Very clean and very spacious rooms. No restaraunt to speak of and no concieage. The check in staff could have been alot more knowledgable about the area but some did try. Alot of constuction going on at the time made the Hotel feel half way done.

I really enjoyed our stay but my only complaint was all the construction going on that I did not know about ahead of time.

One of two phones did not work when we arrived. No coffe was placed in the room one day of four. The room was spacious and clean. The view is magnificent from the 13th floor. All in all we think this was the best choice to make, though a little pricey for what you get.
Everything was great except the front desk staff. - posted on 09/07/2006
Don?t stay at this hotel on Labor Day Fireworks night. On the Sunday of the fireworks show, the hotel is infested with screaming kids with no parents in sight. Kids were playing ball and chase in our hall and despite asking the kids to keep it down and three calls to the front desk, no one on the staff came up. The front desk was not knowledgeable on the area attractions; the concierge desk was vacant. Even google maps couldn't save this since she was sending us to all the wrong places. Thank goodness for Cingular 411.

With clean and spacious rooms which overlook Fountain Square, the Westin Cincinnati provides good service at a moderate price. However, the cable TV selection could be improved (only about 10 channels).

Location is perfect for Reds/Bengals/Underground Mus, only 5 minute safe walk. Workout area and pool are excellent. A lot of restaraunts very close. Reds ticket office on site. Rooms are Westin quality, parking is $$$ but it is down town!

My husband, daughter, and I stayed at this hotel and were impressed. The rooms were very clean and the staff was friendly. The only complaint we had was that the elevators would not work without a keycard so we felt we were stuck until we slipped our keycard into the slot in the elevator. It would have been helpful if the staff could explain that to us before we got on the elevators. Also, our air conditioner did not work very well so we had to request that a fan be brought up to our room. The heavenly beds were amazing.

We do a lot of travelling. This Westin rivals that of any luxury or boutique hotel in the United States! It is clean, quiet, great location, good view of the city, great staff. Thanks for a nice stay!

Gorgeous hotel!! Beautiful rooms and great location. Friendly staff, well maintained public areas and very comfy beds! The elevator was a little slow but the hotel was pretty full since it was New Years eve. Pool was phenomenal, great bathrooms and we were totally relaxed here! Will for sure come back and stay here.

After staying at the Hyatt I found my stay at the Westin refreshing. I will stay at the Westin when ever possible.
