This hotel was very nice and was not set right in the middle of a busy city, it has a really nice pond (would be nice to have a patio out there to set by), but never the less was very nice. Would definitely good there again sometime.

Very clean and smelled good everyone was very friendly.

No restaurant or lounge.

Pleasantly surprised. The towels and washcloths were a thick-embroidered upscale type. Clean and tidy rooms. Would stay there again.

The 52-room Holiday Inn Express Celina is two miles east of Celina and provides affordable quality accommodation equally suited to the business or pleasure traveler. Items included with the room rate at this two-story inn are a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, passes to a nearby gym, a morning newspaper, in-room coffee and parking. Area landmarks and attractions include Grand Lake St Marys, Eldora Speedway, the Fox's Den Golf Course, the Neil Armstrong Museum, the Bicycle Museum of America, St. Charles Seminary and Niekamp Farm and Flea Market.

This Holiday Inn Express does not get all good reviews. We give it the YES rating because the property is spotlessly clean, the rates are reasonable and the team of employees is friendly and full of helpful hints about dining and shopping venues. There were some complaints that there was no elevator to the second floor and the promised assistance with luggage was not always readily available. Others complained about noise from neighboring rooms and the noise of geese landing on a nearby lake. Management can do something about the former by improving sound insulation but hopefully they will not do anything about the latter which is a pleasant alternative to traffic noise.
