Very Bad Hotel - posted on 10/16/2006

This hotle was not in any way what we expected. The food was bad, the room smelled, there was no kitchenette in our room as told nor laundry facility, lock box, tennis court, or golf corse. The gym was very tiny with very old equipment, The bed sheets had holes in them, and when you opened the door to the pool you had to leave because the chemicals made your eyes water so bad. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Improvement Needed - posted on 08/27/2006

Elevator was broken and for my Mom, who just had back surgery, this was not good. Advertised as the closest to the airport, it was NOT. Breakfast was very poor. We left the hotel and at at McDonalds.

Helpful Hotel - posted on 07/15/2006

The customer service at the Best Western was unbeatable. Pool was great. Exercise room was below average to poor, and the only mark that is not excellent. No weights or weight machine, only midgrade treadmill, cheap stairstepper, and cheap exercise bike.

Very pleased with rooms & service - posted on 06/23/2006

Room was modern & clean, spacious bathroom (included coffemaker), comfy beds, a/c worked great. traffic noise on street side audible when the a/c was off, but no different than other hotels -ask for odd # room to avoid street side. nice pool/jacuzzi. courteous, friendly staff. great free breakfast - fruit, toast, teas, cereals, belgian waffles etc. great price; highly recommend!

Poor Bedding - posted on 06/21/2006

Spent a sleepless night on a bed that seems to dig into your skin. Had booked a room for two nights, but had to leave the next day for another hotel.Couldn't dread another night trying to sleep there. One thing I will say , the staff tried to make things better for us by offering a suite but the beds were still the same as the one's we had.

Good Quality For The Price - posted on 06/04/2006

We recently stayed at this hotel for two nights with our 1 year old little boy! The room was clean and the front desk staff was average in personality and service. The continental breakfast is alright if you have the time and patience to wait your turn and make your own waffles - which turned out to be pretty darn good. Our only complaint was that the pool water was too cold for our little boy and the staff claimed they couldn't turn it up any higher! Overall, we were pleased with the room and the staff, considering the price we paid.

Pretty Decent for the Price - posted on 05/24/2006

Overall this hotel was fine for the price I received for our reservation. The hotel receptionists I spoke to were wonderful and very helpful. Our room; however, did have a funky smell to it. For the price I recommend highly and I am hopeful that the other rooms didn't smell like ours did. I would stay there again.

Slight delay in getting airport shuttle, but overall stay was good. I like having park and fly option available. Very convenient to airport.

THE BEDS ARE IN NEED OF BEING REPLACED. DON'T GET A ROOM ALONG THE MAIN ROAD SIDE OF THE HOTEL. YOU CAN HEAR TRAFFIC.

We thought it was a pity that we were not able to have a drink in the hotel.

Just Okay - posted on 09/20/2005

As a woman traveling alone, I was not pleased about the awkward parking due to poor lighting and driveway resealing. Staff was great, knowledgeable and helpful, aside from one woman helping at front desk who refused to smile and barely tolerated the fact that I'd have to go look at my license plate before filling out the registration card. Showerhead came off, toilet ran with one of those "you have to just jiggle the handle" issues which is annoying in the middle of the night; it just feels like the hotel's getting by on its location factor instead of customer service.

Good night's stay - posted on 08/28/2005

Nice hotel for stop-over. Clean, quiet. Desk didn't have our reservation, but upgraded us to a suite. Area immediately surrounding hotel is very industrial, but it's within close driving distance of downtown Cleveland.

Good price - posted on 08/24/2005

The hotel was updated and clean. The rooms were clean and the bathroom had plenty of room. The parking lot flooded due to a rain strom so we had to walk in pools of water to get out of our cars. there was only one person working the desk so check-in/check-out was a little slow, but the employees were nice and friendly. Dont expect a good complimentory breakfast unless you like cereal and fruit; but there is a Bob Evans across the street. All and all the hotel served its purpose for sleeping and it is a good price.

Yuck - posted on 07/28/2005

Rude front desk people. Never any towels at the pool - was told "I will see if we even have pool towels." Not a very good attitude. Room smaller than anticipated, bathroom a very tight squeeze. Never again!

Best ? Western - posted on 07/05/2005

Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable, however, there were no extra chairs in my mother-in-laws room. The personality of the staff left a lot to be desired. They were not very friendly at all. The parking was terrible. The hotel was completely booked and there was little if no parking for all the guests.

Wonderful Stay - posted on 04/07/2005

Our stay was wonderful. The staff and manager were GREAT!!:)It was a very emotional trip for me to the Cleveland CLinic. I had no voice for 23 weeks and I got it back during my stay. The staff at the hotel were very concerned for me and they were as excited as I when I came back with a voice. Our rooms TV didn't work,of course I needed to watch American Idol, so they upgraded us to a suite which worked out perfect so we could have a refrigerator to take our medications at night. I will gladly book another hotel through you and definitely will stay at the Best Western Inns & Suites in Brooke Park. Thank you very much. You helped my 23 week illness into a great recovery!

I found this hotel to be very helpful. I was able to use the shuttle to get to downtown Cleveland via. the train station. Everybody was very helpful and kind. Room was clean. For the money... the price is right!

The hotel was clean, it has an indoor pool, sauna and exercise room. The breakfast was nasty but there is a Bob Evans across the street. The parking was congested due the snow that was not removed and the location of the hotel near airport.

Very close to Cleveland Hopkins airport - posted on 10/06/2004

when I arrived, I was told there was no reservation for me. When I gave them the form I had printed out, they called your company (with some difficulty) because they did not have you listed as one of their on-line partners. You faxed them the information they needed and they honored my reservation. It was somewhat inconvenient to have to wait for all this, so perhaps something needs to be communicated to Best Westerns about your reservation service. I was extremely relieved to have such a diligent front-desk person handling this problem. I cannot adequately rate the extra items such as dining (breakfast was available) because I arrived late at night and left early in the morning and did not even look for recreation facilities.
