The hotel is old, carpet needs to be scrubbed bathtub had rust above filler spout, sink handle was loose you never knew if you were getting hot or cold water, toilet was very slow filling after flushing. However, the hotel staff tried to make our stay comfortable.

Location. Easy access to interstate connections.

Placed on a smoking floor this is not good 4 people with allergies.

Clean, good location, nice room. Just needs a little more for a 3 star hotel. Up scale restaurant is actually 4 star to the 3 star hotel.

In good location for variety of vacation hot spots.

3 star hotel that spent 2 mill up grading should have had TV's.

Holiday Inn Akron-Fairlawn is located on I-77 at US 18, just 24 miles from the International Airport. It is an ideal location for both music and sports fans and is minutes away from the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Also, the hotel is near downtown Akron, the University of Akron, Blossom Music Center, and Infocision Stadium. Recently renovated, the Inn now has an atmosphere of elegance and comfort along with a new spacious lobby. Business travelers will appreciate the top-notch facilities for meetings, banquets, and conferences.

Since receiving its new remodeling and renovation, the Holiday Inn Akron has received good recommendations from guests. The Hotel looks surprisingly modern with an awesome lobby that has sofas, comfy chairs, and a cozy fireplace. The beds are extremely comfortable with tons of pillows--this is very much appreciated. Business facilities are improved with more modern meeting spaces for meetings.
