The Econo Lodge® hotel, a short drive from the Grand Forks International Airport, is convenient to the major sights like Sensations, Speedway, Alerus Center, Scheels All-Sport, Ralph Engestad Arena, Columbia Mall, Michael’s Crafts, the Chester Fritz Auditorium, Grand Forks Air Force Base, the Alerus Center and the University of North Dakota. Golf course and snow mobiling venues are minutes away from the property. The hotel, one mile from Amtrak station, offers complimentary continental breakfast and wireless high-speed Internet. Guests can also make local calls free-of-cost. But the hotel does not have recreational and dining facilities.

This pet-friendly budget hotel has all essential facilities for an enjoyable stay. Almost all guests were satisfied with everything. They appreciated cleanliness, well-appointed spotless rooms, free breakfast, proximity to highway, and helpful and friendly staff. The hotel offered good value for the money spent. Both smoking and non smoking rooms are available. All accommodations are equipped with wireless Internet and cable / satellite televisions with pay-per-view-movies. Some accommodations also feature irons and ironing boards, coffee makers and hair dryers.

Amenities offered

You can start the day off with free continental breakfast but you have to go out for lunch and dinner. Business conveniences, including high-speed wireless Internet, fax services and complimentary electronic personal data assistants (PDA’s) are available for travel executives. The onsite parking lot is designed for cars, trucks and buses. A cold weather hook-up and interior corridors are a big plus.
